EMLAK KONUT GYO Emlak Konut REIT announced record of sales worth 2.878 billion TL for the first quarter of 2017

 Taking firm steps towards future with its steady financial structure, Turkey’s largest real estate investment partnership Emlak Konut REIT made public its sales figures for the first quarter of 2017. With the help of the “Time for Solidarity for a Powerful Turkey” campaign, which started as an indication of trust to the nation’s future and economy, Emlak Konut set a record with 2833 independent unit sales worth 2.878 billion TL.

 

The company, who announced the 2017 target as 8 billion TL, realized a major part of its target in a short span of time like 3 months with this success achieved in the first quarter.

 

2722 independent units were sold in 2 months in the campaign of “Time for Solidarity for a Powerful Turkey”, which ended on 31 March.

 

Leading and directing the real estate sector, Emlak Konut REIT announced its sales figures for the first quarter between 1 January 2017 - 31 March 2017. The company realized sales worth 2.878 billion TL, VAT excluded, with sales based gross 410.460 m2 independent unit.

 

 

In the context of the campaign, which started on 1 February and lasted for 2 months with the slogan “Time for Solidarity for a Powerful Turkey”, sales of 394.668 m2 as 2.722 independent units reached 2.801 billion TL. While 943 independent units were sold in the first month of the campaign, in February; 1.779 independent units were sold in March doubling the sales of the previous month.

 

Having sold 1200 independent units in the same period of the previous year, Emlak Konut increased this figure to 2833 independent units in the first quarter of 2017, achieving a great success.

 

We achieved a major part of our target in just the first three months

In the coverage of our campaign, which ended on 31 March, we sold 2.722 houses worth 2.801 billion TL. When we look at our performance in the first quarter, we reached 2.878 billion sales volume with our sales in January. We had declared our target of 8 billion TL in the beginning of the year. We achieved a major part of our target in just the first three months. As Turkey’s largest real estate investment partnership company, we continue to work and produce for Turkey with the strength we take from our deep history.”

 

The most preferred term was 60 months in the “Time for Solidarity for a Powerful Turkey” campaign

 

In the “Time for Solidarity for a Powerful Turkey” campaign for which the housing sector and banking sector joined their forces, easy terms were offered with only 5% down payment, where up to 60, 120 and 240 month terms were offered with 0, 0.45 and 0.79 delay interests respectively. In the campaign, 0-60 month terms were preferred by 72%, while 61-119 month terms were preferred by 25%.

The first 3 projects which recorded the highest sales numbers in the “Time for Solidarity for a Powerful Turkey” campaign are; ‘Nidapark Küçükyalı’ with 610 independent units, ‘Validebağ Konakları’ with 219 independent units and ‘Ağaoğlu Maslak 1453 İstanbul’ project with 209 independent units respectively.

 

11 banks gave support for the “Time for Solidarity for a Powerful Turkey” campaign

 

In particular, Akbank, Albaraka, Garanti Bank, Halkbank, Kuveyttürk Participation, İşbank, Vakıfbank, Vakıf Participation, Yapı Kredi Bank, Ziraat Bank and Ziraat Participation banks, in total 11 banks participated in the “Time for Solidarity for a Powerful Turkey” campaign.

 

8 billion TL sales targeted in 2017

Emlak Konut REIT aims to take its 7.3 Billion TL sales in 2016 a step further and tp rise it to 8 billion level in 2017. The company targets sales of 1.279.513 m2 during 2017 and plans to realize the sales of 9.900 independent units.
